Farmers Market, Events, and Supporting Local - June 19th 2015
The Kamloops farmers market occurs each Wednesday and Saturday morning throughout the summer in downtown Kamloops. The farmers market is a great opportunity to meet new people, learn about businesses in Kamloops, and to support local growers and Kamloops’ businesses. At the market you will find nearly everything including raw organic vegetables, freshly roasted coffee beans, locally produced wines, a variety of meats and cheeses, plants and other gardening essentials, baked goods, and much more including small home based businesses selling their goods. A couple common vendors at the market include Harpers Trail Winery and Sagewood Winery, and RiverFresh Salmon. Many local farmers attend the market each week to sell their goods. Rawesome - a vendor that turns Kale in to a tasty treat - can be found at the market and is a must try for anyone seeking something unique.
So why are we bringing up the farmers market? Typically, any vendor at an event will show up with their own tent, banner, table, and presentation. Right On Target Promotions can help each and every Vendor stand out in their own unique way, making a lasting visual impact to every visitor. For instance, a pop up tent with a custom printed canopy is one way to immediately tell everyone who you are. In most cases, vendors are hiding their banners at the back of their tent where they are difficult to see and read. Another way to put your name out front is to use a printed table cover. The table covers are clean and clear, creating a professional image. If the event allows it, a great way to get the attention of visitors or participants is by using some feather or teardrop flags. These flags may be mounted out front of your tent or display, or in some cases even mounted to your tent and elevated to stand above everyone else.
If you havn’t been to the farmers market yet, it is a must do activity in any municipality. You’re not only receiving good quality product, but you are supporting local farmers and local business.
